The July Project: A Cotton Wool-Free Zone
Calderdale will be a cotton wool-free zone this summer as children sample extreme sports with The July Project, the region’s biggest festival for children and teens, sponsored by Halifax. Organised by festival partner Calderdale Council, there will be more than 10 different types of sport on offer, from canoeing to caving, in sessions taking place at venues across the area from 1-12 July.

Bollywood Goes to the Drive-In Movies
Bollywood cinema will make an exciting debut in Halifax, West Yorkshire this July at a 1950s-style drive-in movie as part of The July Project, Calderdale’s festival for children and young people, sponsored by Halifax. Om Shanti Om will be screened on Sunday 12 July from 7pm at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum.
